Individuals not in the group can apply when group test sites are open for individual examinees.

Procedures from applying for the exam to receiving the certificate
STEP 1
How to apply
Contact us for locations(prefectures) of each test session.
We will provide you with a list of licensed institutions near you.
Please directly contact them for an application form.
The registered picture will be printed on the exam voucher and certificate.

The photo must be:
・an ID photo facing straight at the camera
・a recent photo taken in last 3 months
・No Cap/Hat・plain background
About religious clothing(hijab etc):
Religious clothing that the person wears daily is allowed.
The person’s face should be visible and no shadows, or clothing block the face.
STEP 2
Test Fee Payment
Please pay examination fees directly to licensed institutions/local host institutions.
STEP 3
Exam voucher issuance
(About 2 weeks prior to the test)
The exam voucher (A4 size, color) is issued by the licensed institutions/local host institutions.
※In some cases, the exam voucher will be handed out at the test site on the day of the test, not in advance.
STEP 4
Taking the test
Please follow the instructions of each licensed institution/local host institution.
※Things to bring: Picture ID required.
STEP 5
Test Results
Approximately 3 weeks after the test, examination No. of successful examinees will be posted online(see “View Your Test Result”).
Approximately 5 weeks after the test, successful examinees will receive a certificate via the licensed institutions/local host institutions.
Certificates will not be issued to unsuccessful examinees.
To administer the Nursing Care JLCT test in your facility(Group Test Site)
Please contact us if you are interested in administering the test in your facility as a group test site.
We will provide you with information regarding accreditation requirements (periodic examinations and fraud prevention, etc.).
Once you have completed the necessary accreditation procedures, you will be able to administer the tests.
Minimum number of examinees
- There are no rules for the minimum number of examinees.
Main role of test administer
- Recruitment & PR
- Collection of examinees’ information & entering it into the online system
- Receipt & storage of printed materials for the test
- Venue set-up, reception, & arrangement for examiners
- Conducting tests in compliance with anti-fraud requirements
- Collection of answer sheets & sending them back to JLCT
- Collection and disposal of used test papers
- Sending the certificates to the examinees
